Thanks Tracy, I don't get many people visiting my blog but I know you pop in now and again so thought it was nice of you to think of me. NEW ABC-Challenge Blog!

I discovered yesterday that there's a new challenge blog called ABC Challenge, and they've got some great candy for their first challenge. For the first week of this challenge blog the theme is animals, and seeing as I love our little furry friends I thought I'd have a go! I've gone with Penny Black (any excuse to use my new stamps), they really know how to do cute animals! So here is my card:

This is what I used:

- Penny Black Stamp "Bunny Kiss" coloured with w/c paints
- Adore Die Cut (Three bugs in a rug) I added faux stitching
- Dotted paper (PM Colossal Pack Brights)
- Green velour paper (Elco)
- Brad, ribbon, glitter etc from stash
- Borders & flowers are doodled

I wanted to add ribbon on bottom (tied between eyelets) but it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to!

Friday Sketchers #9 & Cute Card Thursday #17

This is a combined Challenge as time is tight this week, hope this is ok?! The theme on Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog this week is "The Great Outdoors" so I went with a garden theme, and I followed the sketch from this weeks Friday Sketchers Blog.

The image was sent to me from Tracy, it's from Sugar Nellie (I think), she's really cute! I coloured her with my BARGAIN OF THE WEEK, a set of watercolour paints I bought from Aldi today for 1,99 Euros! They're lovely to paint with, can't go wrong at that price!!! The paper is from Dovecraft, grosgrain ribbon from Poppy Crafts, gems from Paper Mania and the little butterfly charm was from my stash. Sentiment from Woodware (I know, AGAIN you say, but they're just the right size to fit into a corner).

This is a close up of the little charm, I've had these for ages and never used them until now!

Bunny-Zoe's Blog Candy Giveaway!

Bunny-Zoe is celebrating her 10,000 hits by giving away some FAB blog candy! But be quick as the draw takes place on the 7th of July! Good Luck!!!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Brads & Buttons

Ok this week the challenge is to create something which includes a Penny Black stamp (of course) and brads, buttons or both. This one was right up my street as I love buttons and have a little stash of brads so no problems there! I went for a red, white and blue theme (kind of links with yesterday's celebrations in the US although not intentional). I bought the stamp recently and think it's really cute, so versatile! This is what I came up with:

This is what I used:

-Penny Black stamp "Arrangement" coloured with w/c pencils
-Sentiment Woodware Tiny Phrases (I love these little stamps)
-Red Spotted Paper from Dovecraft
-Die Cut flowers (from Katy)
-Spotted Brad from Dovecraft
-Button, ribbon, mini flower brads etc from stash

I used the same stamp for a similar card, but changed the colour scheme so it gives a much softer effect:

The sentiment is from the same set as above and I added some card I ran through my Cuttlebug (Embossing Folder Perfectly Paisley).
